Yes, you'd have to be preety tough to not cry. Hamsters have bottom teeth that range from aout 4-6cm. There teeth lock into your flesh and they don't let go easlily. Scold your hamster by tapping or lightly flicking his/her nose.
IF YOU HAVE A HAMSTER BITE, disenfect it therouly and place a tight cloth/bandaid around the wound to stop bleeding. If in a few days, if your bite still hurts, go see a local or family doctor to get a treatment. It's nothing to freak out about just be more careful and make sure you heal. (:

Immediately put your hamster in a warm place or cuddle him/her in your warmest blanket!
No. Depends on what kind of hamster you get. The hamsters I have now do not bite. Syrian hamsters may bite. It will keep fighting with a hamster you might have already until that one dies.
a hamster will only bite if you provoke it

It should stop hurting in about a day. Make sure you wash it well and put a little peroxide or antibacterial ointment on it. It will be completely gone in about three days as long as you don't keep touching it and breaking the scab that forms.
