You can't drive it until you fix it.
Your transmission is in between your engine and your tires. If it is destroyed, there is no way to transfer that power, and you will either be able to start the car, but not move it using the engine (i.e. destroyed an results in the car being in neutral for all purposes) or you will be unable to even start the car and certainly not move it (even pushing) if the transmission destruction results in the car being essentially stuck in gear or locked in position.
This could be deadly if it occurred on the freeway.
Have someone qualified check it out if you are even moderately concerned!
The car will not move when you put it in gear.
The car would be taken up in the air and destroyed and if your in the car then the chances of living is moderate
A manual transmission will become noisy, shift hard and eventually self destruct. An automatic will simply not pull the car.
That is what we call theft. And then you will be sued, your wages garnished and your credit destroyed.
what can happen to the transmission? Also is it possible to put fluid back in to save the transmission? You won't get far and you will probably do some damage to the transmission in the process.
If any fluid except for the correct transmission fluid is put into the transmission of a car, it will eventually fail. If this happens, a person must flush the transmission of the car.
If you bought it "as is" and with no warranty you are out of luck. You will be buying a new transmission.
If you keep up with your regular maintenance, you should not have a problem with the transmission of your BMW car. If something still happens to it, your warranty should cover it.
" My transmission to my car broke, and I missed the party." " I need to get my transmission fixed on my car." " My favourite word is transmission." " My dad's favorite word is transmission." " When will you get that transmission on your car fixed?" " How do you put transmission in a sentence?" Dude, I think you got it..
it foams..can damage...don't...drain and fill to correct level
I'm no mechanic, but you should get trans. fluid in it right away. without transmission fluid, the car could have a hard time changing gears from the wear from not being lubricated.
it had no transmission
