The crank shaft sensor may have died and the engine controller is using other sensors to keep the engine operational in "limp" mode.
Monitors, Keyboards, and mice all need a signal from the computer to work properly. Have you have the computer checked by a Certified Technician lately
crank shaft sensor - £30 to buy
it could possibly be a bad coil, crank shaft sensor, or cam shaft sensor.
Put the crank shaft at TDC. There is a dot on one of the crank gear teeth. It should be pointing toward the cam gear. Put the cam gear on without the chain. Turn the cam until the hole in the cam gear is pointing toward the crank. In other words, the hole in the cam gear and the dot on the crank gear should be in line. Then simply remove cam gear and apply the chain. The computer does the fine timing. Nothing to adjust.
Chances are the Timing gears or pulleys are not properly aligned. The Cam shaft and the Crank shaft must be aligned properly so that the valves and pistons are "in sync"
If the knock is more noticable when you rev to1000 rpm and let off, it might be slack where the rod connects to the crank shaft. I drove an 1980 celica 22r 200'000 miles with that knock, for a total of 300'000 miles, and never removed the head or the crank shaft. We finally sold it and it still ran fine, knock and all.
Out of gas, fuel pump, cam sensor, crank sensor, coil, computer, alternator, etc.
Not on a 1987 Ford Ranger. I had that problem and it would crank just fine, just no spark. Every place I took it to said it was the ignition module because it's pitted, and so they'd replace it for about $150 once a year. I had the original ignition module last 14 years on that truck, then a new one was put on yearly for the next 6 till I traded it in. Then I found out about the crank shaft sensor! It will turn over just fine and act like its not getting any fuel. Wish I'd known that but I traded the vehicle 4 years ago.
because it is french
If the signal going in is Composite, then yes this should work fine.
ya it should fit fine cuz i have the brine answer for a head and a warrior hero composite for a shaft. it works fine but im getn the brine swizzle shaft soon so ya
This generally means that the monitor section of the unit is not receiving a video signal - make sure the jumper between the two video plugs in place. On mine unfortunately it was a dead motherboard for the computer. The monitor section was working fine - just no signal from the motherboard.
