Juan Ponce de Leon did not have any point-black failures because he is a beast and was so amazing that he has a long list of accomplishments and strengths but one will never be able to find at least 5 things that ponce de leon failed at. Furthermore you can say that Ponce deLeon failed at being a good man because through his amazing accomplishments he ruined the chances of another man being recognized for anything in their lives (because he did it first). Well, I don't know if it was really a failure. His primarily gold was to discover how to sail directly from Europe to India. He presented his plans to the portuguese court, but it was not aceepted. Spain did, but with huge doubts of his success. On his first try, he endep up going to Lisbon, Portugal. On his second try, he decided to cross all the planet, by travelling to Ocident. That's how he discover the American continent. So, on one hand, considering that he wanted to arrive do India, and he end up going to the Bahamas, it's really a failure, but on the other hand, he discovered a new continent, so his failure was quite helpful.
