What is Perth known for?

Perth is an extremely livable city. It does not have great extremes of temperatures although, like almost any Australian city, it may be subject to seasonal violent thunderstorms and intense, raging bushfires. Hot summer days are cooled down in the evening by the "Fremantle Doctor", a cooling afternoon sea breeze. In many ways it is a practically-designed city. Its train network is marvellously streamlined to follow the main roads, and it is very easy to get about by public transport. Overlooking the city are Kings Park and the Botanic Gardens, which are full of unique species native to Western Australia. For the visitor from the eastern states, it is full of new discoveries and experiences. Nearby is the historic city of Fremantle, with its own unique and appealing architecture. Rottnest Island is a well-protected National Park, easily accessible by ferry, where you can see the endangered quokka in its natural environment.

1. Good place to build your assets because the price of houses rise quite fast. Good if you have high income, sucks if you don't.

2. Most isolated capital city in the world. No inter-city traveling by car as opposed to other places in the world. Traveling to the Americas and Europe is expensive because of the distance.

3. High salaries along with the rest of Australia. This is compared to Canada and the U.S

4. Everything is expensive. Food, car, house, clothes. This compensates for the high salary.

5. There is no Abercrombie & Fitch, Starbucks, Crispy Creme Doughnuts, and the list goes on.

Perth is quiet mostly, and people here are very generous and helpful. there are good food and lots of things to see. If you are looking for nightclubs, strip clubs etc, then Northbridge is the placxe to be.
