A TIW valve is a type of safety valve that is used in the oil field. This valve prevents a blow out when drilling for oil.
It's a valve that can open an hydraulic circuit befor the water inside freeze.
Ideally, the valve should settle into a single position once setpoint is reached. A hunting valve over-controls, or goes too far, then reverses in an attempt to the correct overshoot, but goes too far, reverses direction again, and constantly repeats this cycle. A hunting valve results in poor control, and prematurely wears out the valve's mechanical parts. Hunting is usually indicative of loop gain too high (PID gain + process gain), or a valve that is oversized for the intended flow, or noisy input signal, or a PID integral term too small.
A soleniod is a device that produces mechanical motion by electrical induction. They are a coil of wire with either a plunger which is drawn into the coil or a plate that is drawn to a metal core. Most small water valves (like for an icemaker) have a metal plunger which is attached to a valve seat. When off, a spring holds the plunger down closing the valve. When on, the coil draws the plunger up and water escapes from the now uncovered hole to the outlet. Larger valves (like sprinkler valves) contain a small valve described above as a trigger device. They contain a diaphragm that seals the main valve and is held shut by water pressure on the diaphragm. When the trigger valve is opened, it releases the pressure and a light spring pushes the valve open, letting the water through. When the trigger valve closes, the cavity on the non-valve side of the diaphragm refills with water, closing the valve.

Decoking
decoking
Coke drum unheading in general can be explained as follows. When coke is being formed in the coke drum the unheading is a means of isolating the drum from the decoking device. After coking process is complete the unheading devices ( at top and bottom of the drum ) are opened and by hydraulic or other means the coke formed is separated from the drum and further handled and conveyed. The drum is again ready for coking and the unheading devices are closed. The process of coking and decoking are batch processes and take place over a period of about 24+ hours in the ratio of about 20+ hours of coking and 2 or 3 hours of decoking.
Valve pocketing is when a valve is hammering the valve seat.mostly due to miss adjusted valve spring/wrong valve spring/to strong of a valve spring or valve stem to short.Makes the valve seat deeper.
tricuspid valve, bicuspid valve and pulmonary valve
A valve spring "keeper" or AKA a valve spring "retainer" is used to lock a valve spring to the valve.
# The PCV valve is located in the valve cover # Detach the hose from the valve then unscrew the valve from the valve cover
Spill valve is a overflow valve.
Ileocecal valve
The valve guide is a precise hole in the head that the valve stem slides in. The valve is retained by the retainer and two valve locks.
intake valve is bigger.
the triscuspid valve is the valve in a bathroom sink.
