It is a synthetic rubber gasket that prevents the bearing from losing its grease or being contaminated with dirt
The most likely cause of a washing machine leak is a small hole in the rubber door seal which can be easily replaced. As a temporary measure the seal can be loosened and twisted 180degrees until the top is at the bottom. Probably a bad tub bearing. Live with it, or get a new machine. +++ It won't be the bearing because the shaft is outside of the drum, but it could be a leak on one of the pipe joints, or (as happened on mine) on the pump, which does use a shaft running through a bush and seal from the inside to the outside of the pump body.

properties of bearing alloy
The bearing number can be checked out depends on the size of ID (Inner Diameter), OD (Outer Diameter) and H (Height) of this bearing.
Any bearing ball or race that is not in good shape, worn, cracked, insufficiently lubricated.Over tightening the bearing can cause overheatingMissalignment is a fault (thoug not of the bearing itself)Dirt
I used an SKF 30205J2/Q bearing and CR 692369 seal. Russ
If this S10 is a 4+4, the seal and bearing is not serviceable. The hub and bearing assembly is replaced as one unit.
Remove the tire and wheel. Remove the and to the axle. Remove the wheel bearing seal, with a seal puller. Remove the wheel bearing. Reverse the process to install the new wheel bearing.
how do i replace a wheel seal
You should not need to remove the main bearing cap, in order to replace the rear main seal. The rear main seal will come off without touching the main bearing cap.
You can replace the rear Main seal on the oil pump of your Dodge ram 1505.9 L pickup truck by removing the camshaft bearing. Once the bearing is removed the seal can be removed with a seal puller. Reverse the process to install the new seal.
You need to replace the oil seal.
The seal between the impeller shaft and the housingwears out.
To prevent the separation of the bearing side oil and the process liquid.
A blue field bearing a rendering of the state seal,
on a brake rotor there are 2 bearings ,inner and outer. the outer bearing is the first one you see that falls out when removing rotor.the inner is the bigger one that is held in by the seal when you remove rotor so to remove the seal, place the rotor on some blocks so there is enough clearance under it to allow the bearing to come out.these blocks need to not be under centre where bearing is next with a long soft metal punch ,such as (brass),and a hammer, you need to knock the inner bearing out. this can be done by inserting punch thru the rotor from the front side,(top when layed down on blocks) when the bearing is knocked out ,the seal should come out with it.if the seal is completely trashed and doesnt come out with bearing, use same punchor a thinner one to knock seal out same way as for bearing/to replace you must replace bearings then gently tap new seal in this must also be done eevenly or it will not seat or seal properly
First, the car will need to be raised. Then the rear wheel should be removed. Now the existing bearing and seal can be removed and the new ones fitted.
