It looks similar to a veil-tail betta. But instead of Long smooth fins, they have long splits in their fins. I can't really explain them well. Though i must recommend, if you know the name of something you want to see, just find it through the "images" tab of your browser.
A crowntail betta is a breed of betta that has a very unique tail shape that resembles a crown.
The 'Crowntail Betta' is a man developed 'sport' from the wild "Betta splendens" that comes from tropical Asia. They do not occur in the wild.
A Crowntail Betta is a variant of Betta Splendens with ridged fins intead of smooth and round fins.
Crowntail, Veitail, and Halfmoons.
Yes they will.
A crowntail is a beta fish with a teardrop-shaped fan tail. The tail of a crowntail beta distinguishes it from other betas. The crowntail is a Siamese fighting fish that grows to 1.5-inches in length.
it dose not show me the thing it is a rip off
because he doesnt want to and you get to close to the bowl
Male crowntail bettas have the large finns commonly associated with the betta fish with a small difference in the edges of the tail. Females have very very short fins with the crowntail edges
No. They need very different water parameters.
The body colour in the Cambodian is always pale pink regardless of the fin colours. The ordinary Betta has the same colour in both the fins and the body.
CLEAN HIS WATER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! Ammonia is produced from the fishes waste. It is toxic and will kill your Betta fast!!! Do regular water changes.
Take care of it just like a normal Betta. A tank no less than 3 gallons, (15litres) and feed it once a day.
It's just a type of Betta Spenden that are bred to look like that (because your not going to find a beautiful bright blue Crowntail in the wilds of Asia) Some characteristics would be that they look like their tails were cut into little prongs (not literally) and if you buy them at a pet store, the label may specify whether or not it's a crowntail and if you are unsure if you have a Crowntail or not, just ask the nearest employee at the store. They'll most likely know if it is or not.
Well the average normal betta cost about three dollars depending where you live. A Delta tail betta costs about eight dollars, a crowntail is about fourteen dollars and a halfmoon is also about fourteen dollars. There are other kinds but I havent seen them in stores.
