It's direct injection, under compression as is used in diesel engines. Most automobile injectors are either throttle body (sort of like a carburetor with one or two injectors serving all cylinders) or manifold injection with an injector for each cylinder.
check plugs, wires, or coil packs. on cylinder #5. But if your changing plugs or wires do them all at one not just #5. ------------------------- Dont forget to check the Fuel Injector also. You can test the injector by swapping the # 5 injector with the injector from any other cylinder. If the miss changes cylinder then the injector is bad.
Miss on that cylinder. The injector will have to be removed and tested to verify this.
It has 6 injector 1 Injector per cylinder
Bad injector or injector wiring on cylinder #3.
Injector dribbling will wash the oil off the cylinder walls.
Trouble code P0201 means: Injector Circuit / Open - Cylinder 1 Need 2 replace Injector on cylinder 1
There are five steps on how to replace the fuel injector in a cylinder. Some of the step-by-step instructions are disconnect the negative battery cable, relieve the fuel pressure, and remove the cylinder head cover.
plugged up fuel injector or bad injector itself.
Injector circuit open, cylinder 1. Check the connection at the #1 fuel injector if it is okay you may have a failed injector.
can i change 1 fuel injector on 4.3 6 cylinder silverado 2003.
injector curcuit malfunction, then tells cylinder number. po200 to po206,
It has a multi-point fuel injection system with one injector on each cylinder.
Each cylinder has it's own injector
No on intake, 1 for each cylinder.
Bad fuel injector, or debris stuck in the injector not allowing it to close.
The fuel injector on that cylinder is probably leaking and if so, there is be more fuel than the spark can ignite.
I had this on mine and it was a faulty injector
There is one injector for each cylinder.
I don't know why you would want to stop gas from going into a cylinder, but there is only one way i can think of. If it is a fuel-injected vehicle, you can disconnect the fuel injector harness from that cylinder, that will stop the injector from firing. If it is has a carb, I don't think there is a way.
Yes. A sticking fuel injector can allow far too much fuel into a cylinder.
Trouble code P0202 means: Injector circuit malfunction - cylinder #2
On the four cylinder there are two in the throttle body. On the six cylinder there are six on the intake manifold.
It is a part of a fuel system that injects fuel into the manifold or into the cylinder of an engine.
