∙ 14y agoAtoms of the same element with different numbers of neutrons (and therefore mass numbers) are called isotopes. A common example would be Carbon-12 and Carbon-14, they are carbon atoms (6 protons and 6 electrons) with 6 and 8 neutrons respectively.
