If you are replacing it with a new one I would unplug the sensor from the harness and then cut the wires off at the sensor. This will let you slip a 7/8" box wrench over the sensor and using a counterclockwise motion remove it.
what is the wiring diagram for the o2 sensor on 2000 s10 blazer. it has 4 wires. what what do they all do /
A 1998 Chevy S10 Blazer has a total of two oxygen sensors. One is used for the upstream and one for the downstream.
It does not have one. It has a Distributor that controlls that.
A faulty engine temp sensor can do that.
It does not have one
knock sensor
There is more than one O2 sensor on that vehicle, and they are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
Haynes makes a manual with the wiring schematic for the O2 sensor on a 1991 Chevy Blazer S10. The manual can be found at most book stores.
The 95 S10 4.3L still uses the distributor.
A bad engine temp sensor can do that.
There is no adjustment to my knowledge.
Next to the thermostat housing.
