hydrochloric acid does not have an atomic number. Only elements have atomic numbers and hydrochloric acid is a compound composed of two non-metal elements: hydrogen and chlorine, as you might have guessed by the name.

However:

Hydrogen's atomic number is 1

and Chlorine's atomic number is 17
