If you own a 2003-2009 Ford f-150 with a rattle under the drivers side dash that sounds kind of like a metal tab or spring,,,try this. look at the brake pedal carrier assembly >> the metal frame that holds the pivot pin for your brake pedal >> it has 2 bolts that mount it to the sheet metal way up under your dash. You can either loosen the one closest to the drivers side door by 1/4 of a turn, this usually works on 75% of the time , or you can remove both bolts and put 2 thin washers behind the metal carrier.
2. One under the hood on the drivers side, and one under the tops of your feet on the drivers side.

on my f150 (1997) it's located under dash on drivers side it's a gray box 6"x 4" about an inch thick.
The fuel pump relay is under the hood, on drivers side fenderwell in a plastic holder with the eec diagnostic data link.
