The 1997 Owners Guide doesn't show it , but in 1998 it is rated at 235 horsepower
The 5.4 liter V8 engine in a 1997 Ford F-150 is rated at ( 235 horsepower ) from the factory
According to the owners manual : 210 horsepower at 4400 RPM and 290 ft.lb. torque at 3250 RPM
In the 2001 Ford Excursion the V10 is rated at 310 horsepower
I believe that is 260 horsepower
