Of or relating to the Orange River is an English equivalent of 'Orangian'. The Orange River is the longest river in the Republic of South Africa. In fact, it's an important boundary marker in terms of the Republic's borders with Lesotho and Namibia. The river's source is in the Drakensburg Mountains of Lesotho, from which the stream's waters run westwards to the Atlantic Ocean. The area around the river also is an important source of middle Stone Age artifacts.
