Had mine in 8 different shops. They all did it differently. I swapped out the carberator to Fuel injection which required it to be done a different way. It still is not right. Probably need to take it to Jeep and hope you find someone experienced with the model.

The vacuum lines, in a 1993 Honda accord, are controlled by a vacuum pump. The vacuum pump regulates the proper pressure in the vacuum lines.
check you vacuum lines
It's a vacuum leak somewhere in the system. There are several vacuum lines that operate the blend doors on the system. If there is a leak where the system will not hold vacuum, it will default to defrost automatically.
erratic idle can most times be tracked to a vacuum issue, check all your lines for leaks
Your Jeep Wrangler is not getting the proper amount of gas if it stalling when you come to a complete stop. This could be your fuel pump, fuel lines, or the intakes.
Did this b/4I have a 94 wrangler with the vacuum switch on the transfer. It shouldn't be any different for your jeep. The vacuum switch cost about $20 or less. Just get a big socket or wrench to remove and replace AND BE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN OF THE VACUUM LINE ORDER/PLACEMENT. In fact, the way I did this was to use a huge socket wrench to break the threads loose after marking corresponding vacuum lines and nipples. If this doesn't do it, inspect the vacuum lines going to the switch. If you do the vacuum lines check and all is good check the shifting fork, mine brokeon me. It cost 5 dollars at a junk yard.
Vacuum lines supply vacuum for various functions.
The brakes need to be bled, or is there no vacuum pressure? in that case you need to check all vacuum lines, including the ones for the cabin and other accessories, not just the brakes.

There is a vacuum operated switch on the backside of the front axle. On a '95 it is held in place by 4 small bolts. It should have an electrical connection, as well as a pair of vacuum lines going into a round vacuum pump. Check the vacuum lines for leaks or they could be pulled loose. Also, the vacuum pump could have rusted through, which would prevent the switch from operating. I had the same experience on my '95 and that was the problem. Hope this helps
