--Soil conservation is the best way to make sure that we have the land we need to live on If you see your soil eroding, protect it with grass or plants. If you see something that's making the soil sick, do everything you can to make the soil healthy again. If you live on a farm, make sure that the soil on your fields and pastures stays right where it is right now! -- it connotes people's deliberate efforts to use land wisely by means of proper farming techniques. -- preventing or minimizing soil erosion in order to prevent sedimentation of rivers, lakes, irrigation, etc.
soil conservation is the prevention of soil loss from erosion or reduced fertility caused by over usage, acidification, salinization or other chemical soilcontamination. Slash-and-burn and other unsustainable methods of subsistence farming are practiced in some lesser developed areas.
