It depends on where you live.
If you live in a city with skyscrapers and stores, an earthquake would be worse because if the earthquake was high on magnitude, it might knock down buildings and glass would be shattered everywhere!
If you live in a village or small town near the ocean, a tsunami would be worse. The small houses could be easily swept away by the strong currents and water. You would never see your belongings again.
