It depends on what year it is. Generally Honda civic has 4 x100 bolt pattern but some models like Civic VII (06>) it is 5 x114.3
4x100
4x100. the way you check is to measure the center of one stud diagonally to the center of another stud. if it is 100mm, then they are definitely 4x100.
The stud pattern (PCD) is 4x114.3 with +38 to +40 offset
early (gen 1) honda civicsmazda rx5 and thats about it, a very rare stud pattern
Remove the brakes and rotor. you should be able to bang the stud straight through to the back. if you have trouble inserting the new stud you may have grind down one side.
The stud pattern for a 1994 Mazda E2000 Van is a 4 x 120. That means it has four studs (holes) on a 120mm PCD (pitch circle diameter, circle that the holes are equally spaced on). If you measure the greatest distance apart on a four or even numbered stud pattern this will give you the diameter. If measuring a 5 or odd number pattern you need to measure the distance from center of wheel to center of stud. This will give you radius then multiply by 2 to get the PCD (diameter).

To get the valve cover stud out all you need is a 10mm socket and rachet it and after the valve covers off it should just come right off using the socket. but you will have to replace it
