Check the control module, the resistor, etc......
On the Dodge Ram truck, the heater fuse for the blower is on the fuse panel on top of the battery. There is also a blower motor resistor on the blower motor. The fuse to control the heat control panel is in the fuse box in the dash.
Check the A/C fuse, that's what happened on my '85.
Blown fuse, bad heater blower motor control switch, bad blower motor, or a bad blower motor resistor pack.
In Subarus the temp control for the heater does not control the coolant flow, just airflow past the heater core. If you get no heat, there is no coolant in the heater core -- either there is no coolant or it is not circulating.
The control module for the blower motor is under the glove box inside the heater box.
It does not have a heater control valve. It does not have a heater control valve.
The blower switch is the knob you turn on the heater control in the dashboard. If you are talking about the blower motor resistor, it is located in the passenger's foot well area, mounted in the heater box.
Blown fuse, defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack, Defective Blower Motor, or Defective Blower Motor speed control switch.
Depends on what you mean by heater will not work. If the blower motor will not work, it can be a blown fuse, bad blower motor, bad blower motor switch, or a defective blower motor resistor pack. If you mean that the blower motor works but there is no heat, then it can be a clogged heater core, thermostat stuck open, or defective heater control valve.
Something called a blower control module takes the place and is found in the hole where you would find a blower resistor, so there isn't a blower resistor in that vehicle. As far as the blower control module is concerned, the module is serviced as a unit. No part can be fixed or replaced. This is not to be confused with the control head in the dash. The blower control module is held into the heater box with two 8mm screws outside the firewall under the hood, where you would normally find the blower resistor pack.
Check to see if you are getting power to the blower motor - if so motor is defective if not problem in circuitry to blower motor
