Have your motor mount checked.

After a long hard look search for the crank sensor for th2005 Nissan Altima I can tell You exactly where to find it. Look on the fire wall side of engine between the rear engine mount and the transmission bell housing, there is only about 2 inches space for you to work with. You may have to remove the rear engine mount if your hands are bigger than mine and you have to remove this sensor from the top side of the engine. I am an auto technician for about 20 years hope that after replacing this crank sensor your hard start and engine cut off problems are over. Stanley Grant. stange322@hotmail.com

I'm pretty sure you meant "motor mount sensor" ... but regardless, there is no such thing.
It's a pain in the neck, the sensor is under the engine mount by the starter and the mount has to be removed to access the sensor.
