Hi. I'm assuming that the od light is illuminated. Your Camry has a three speed automatic with electronic overdrive,(4th gear). This is activated by a button on the T bar under the button you press to select P R D etc. If the dash light is on, then overdrive is off. If you press the button as mentioned and the light still stays on, then there is a problem. Hope this helps.
There is a switch that controls the brightness of the dash illumination. You can adjust them from bright to dim and off all together. Be sure the switch is not in the off position. The dash illumination has its own fuse, check that also.
Push the horn for five million hours
If the light for the gear shift on the console does not work on a 2002 Toyota Camry, it is probably a burned out bulb. The console will need to come off to access the bulb to change it. This part is held onto the console area by screws.

By having the problem that the computer has detected repaired. The SRS is in need of service. You need to go to a dealer to have this looked at and to reset the light.
Be sure that the dash light dimmer control is not turned off and check the fuses.
You need to get the error code, it will give an idea what to do next (Auto Zone does read error codes for free).

To reset the airbag light on a 1996 Toyota Camry, first, ensure that the vehicle's ignition is off. Then, locate the airbag diagnostic connector, which is typically found under the driver’s side dashboard. Use a jumper wire to connect the terminals in the connector, turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine, and wait for the airbag light to blink. Remove the jumper wire after the light has blinked, and then turn off the ignition. This should reset the airbag light.
