What caused ww3?

Hopefully there won't be a World War 3, but if there is, I think it will be about running out of some important resource like water (fresh), oil, gas etc.

I think it will start over the scarcity of natural and non-sustainable resources like fossil fuel

Where WW III might begin

Iran, israel.. only if Iran is backed by Russia (and Israel by US).

China, India ... flexing of muscles over control over resources in the Asia region.

Russia, USA(+Nato EU) over Ukraine, Baltics

China vs Vietnam, Taiwan over Spratley Isles... the latter backed by US and Japan

Russia vs US/Canada/Norway(EU) over (melted) NorthPole rights... but I guess that d only be limited to "conflicts"(sabotaging subs).

I personally believe that if there will in fact be a world war three in our lifetime it will come from North Korea. I see North Korea starting a war with South Korea or South Korea starts a war with the north. With that happening I see a possible chain reaction in which China sides with North Korea and the US sides with South Korea, which with that will set off a chain reaction of picking sides and being pissed off at one another. I see two possible outcomes though, one most every sides with South for ethical reasons and makes china stand alone and the good guys win, or two most everyone sides with the South, but big countries that we would need like russia, or Japan ex. would side with China because threat of invasion by China. Because I believe China wants a war and needs a war, I think in the next ten to twenty years there will be a war.

World War 3 could happen for many reasons but at the moment people say that World War 3 could happen because of Nuclear weapon testings and the economy.

People believes that the Middle East countries such as Iraq, Pakistan and other countries such as america or russia could cause world war 3 because of the nuclear equipment and its military.

Russia and America has got loads of nuclear weapons and many more which is top secrete. Iraq and pakistan along with Iran has been known for their terrorist attacks and the wars which has happen in past decade.
