The most common reason for a vehicle to run rough when it is cold is bad spark plugs or bad spark plug wires. Change the spark plugs and spark plug wires.
Its idling rough because you probably have a blown head-gasket and lost compression at two cylinders you need to remove all spark plugs and check each cylinders compression.
Could be, a bad spark plug(s), a spark plug wire(s), a bad distributor cap, a bad rotor, a vacuum leak, bad fuel injector(s).
YES it does. It should be close to intake.
Cut the brake line and remove it. drain the gas tank and then test the oil. if the oil is low....fill it and then put vegetable oil in the tank to clean it....remove the vegatale oil and put regular in there. Then put premium gas in the gas tank. You do not eed a brake line for it to run rough.Hope i helped!!!!
recheck wires to plugs sounds like two are crossed
try checking youre timing
have you tuned it up? plugs, wires, cap + rotor
Corrosion inside the distributor cap. Get a new cap and rotor.
change the plugs and wires
Rough Engine Performance AFTER Changing Distributor Cap and RotorThe only thing I can think of is that in the process of the changeover, the wires between the newly installed rotor and the spark plugs were not reconnected to the proper "towers."As a result, the spark plugs are not firing in the proper order thus causing the rough running. Since the engine will run, I also suspect that possibly only one or two plug wires are improperly connected.
I would recommend checking for codes before you do anything else.
There are several things that can cause your 1993 Nissan 300 to idle rough. The most common cause is dirty spark plugs. Bad spark plug wires can also cause the problem.
When the idle goes rough, you must idle the plugs. Else the car plugs roughly.
