NO NO NO the combustion chamber is smaller and will have too much compression.
The area is called the combustion chamber.
You are allowing coolant to enter the combustion chamber. AND You replace the head!
the cylinder head where it protrudes into the combustion chamber
Blown head gasket
White smoke from the exhaust means that coolant is entering the combustion chamber. Normally caused by a blown head gasket or cracked head. STOP driving the car until this is repaired as severe engine damage will occur.
A Bad Head Gasket, The Fuel in the combustion chamber can work its way into an oil jacket Even antifreeze in the head can seep into the combustion chamber or oil jackets or vise versa
Combustion chamber.
blue smoke=oil in the combustion chamber(i.e. valve seals etc) white smoke=coolant in the combustion chamber(head gasket etc) black smoke=gas in the combustion chamber(leaky valve etc)
The term "hemi engine" refers to an engine with a hemispherical combustion chamber. The word "hemi" is short for hemispherical, and it describes the shape of the combustion chamber in the cylinder head of the engine. This design is known for its efficiency in allowing air and fuel to flow in and out of the chamber, leading to improved combustion.
usually it is antifreeze that is getting into the combustion chamber that produces the smell. possibly because of a bad head gasket,or cracked head that allows fluid from the cooling system to be drawn into the combustion chamber. either way it is major engine work
