How do you replace the intake gasket on a 1992 Chevy Lumina Z34?

I'll assume Lower Intake Gasket, since they tend to cause vacuum leaks. Get a manual from Autozone and expect about 4 hrs labor, you need to take off the upper intake manifold just to replace the Lower Intake Gasket. Probably should change/clean the PCV valve while ur in there. Good luck, man.

Can a bad intake gasket cause water to mix with oil?

Yes, a bad intake gasket can cause coolant to mix with engine oil. Indeed a bad lower intake can cause this. Who ever said the head gasket is a moron. You can't assume this all the time. This is why you have diagnostic tools such a a compression tester and a leak down tester. For example, my compression is good, and the valves are not leaking past the specs. However, there is air coming from the lower intake. The gasket is bad. Also, it's always suggested that you change the oil after the gasket just to be sure no water got in the oil pan from doing the gasket.

How do you replace a manifold gasket in a 95 Ford Windstar?

"Manifold gasket" ? whick one? Upper intake MG,Lower intake MG or exhaust MG? I thinks you mean intake MG. The Upper intake MG is easy on. Just undo the bolt and clear the gasket materal, then replace new upper intake MG. The lower intake MG is a little bit hard. Carefully clear the old gasket material on the manifold and head, clear the bolt nad bolt hole in the head, then carfully install the lower intake MGand double check the coolant passage in ordeer to void the coolant leading. The last step is to torque corectly the bolt. good luck.

Can you drive with bad upper intake manifold gasket?

a bad head gasket will result with compression and oil/coolant mixxing in the blocka badupper or lower intake gasket will result with coolant in crankcase or exaust manifold which causes white smoke comming out of the tail pipe...if your gonna change the upper or lower intake gaskets change them both at the same time... it saves you money in the long run

Replaced lower intake gasket oil still in radiator What else could it be Could I have a cracked head?

blown head gasket is the usual reason for oil in coolant or radiator. sad part is if you have already replaced intake gasket, u wasted your money as you will have to replace again when you fix head gasket

How do you get antifreeze out of your oil?

By repairing he problem, which is more than likely a blown head gasket. Do not drive this car as severe engine damage will occur. My two cents: Note that other leaks can cause this problem. GM 3.1L and 3.4L SFI engines get this problem from a lower intake gasket. Chrysler OHC V6 Engines (chain timed) will do this if the water pump leaks.
