OS X is the all encompassing term for every version of Apple's OS 10 software from 10.1 to 10.6 (as of July 2010).
Basically, Mac OS X is 10.3 Panther, but is also 10.1, 10.2, and every other version forth to 10.6.

There is no difference in game play between any Mac game and a Windows game.
Mac OS 9 is the old version of Mac OS. Mac OS X was completely rebuilt from the ground up. Except some of the programs. The interface and look is different, but things like Disk Utility and stuff are the same. Terminal is a program that never gets improvements so that's the same too.

Although the appearance of Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) is similar there are many differences in the workings of the two systems. Most notably Snow Leopard requires a Mac with an Intel processor whereas Leopard will run on earlier Macs with G4 or G5 Power PC processor as well as the newer Intel based Macs.

The main difference between Macs and PCs is the operating system. The Mac OS is easy to use and efficient. Windows doesn't have the simplicity and is more prone to viruses.
