As an Egyptian, in my opinion there may be sum difference such as skin tone, hair texture, but intellegence wise or othere similar factors i believe that there isn't no real difference, also Arabs do live in different environments compared to non Arab africans, so they adapt different life styles, also back home in Egypt i have met real like skinned European looking peoplez n real dark skinned people but the fact of the matter is that Egypt may not be a great example because similar to Brazil and South Africa there have been so many different civilizations and empires controlled Egypt mixing races and cultures but in my opinion, we are truly brown but truly we are all equal by race, class, and gender we are all of the human race so no there is no difference.

Answer 1

A non-arab Muslim isn't Arabic obviously.. There's non-arab Muslims like Albanians, Bosnians, Turks, Kazakhs, etc. Bosnians and Kazakhs have mostly Slavic blood and they're really pale usually unless they're gypsies. The only difference is ultimately what country they are from.

Answer 2

Historically, there is a huge distinction. Non-Arab Muslims are usually called Mawali (meaning those who are governed - in reference to the fact that Arabs were ruling over them initially). The Umayyad Caliphate was well-known for its disparaging treatment of Mawali. In fact, the success of the Abbassids in their revolt against the Umayyads had a lot to do with the fact that Abbassids claimed that they would institute equality between Arab Muslims and Mawali.

The most numerous and important groups during the Rise of Islam Period of Mawali were the Persians in Iran, the Amazigh (Berbers) of North Africa, and the Muladies (Spaniards) of Islamic Spain. All three of these groups were responsible for numerous contributions to Math, Science, Philosophy, History, and Theology in the Islamic Empires. (For example, Averroes/Ibn-Rushd was Amazigh (he wrote on history), Al-Khwarzimi was Persian (he invented algebra), and Avicenna/Ibn-Sina was an Amazigh-Muladi (he perfected Islamic medical practices).)

Today, the largest populations of Muslims are the Mawali of South Asia (India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan) and Southeast Asia (Malaysia and Indonesia). The Amazigh, Persian, Turkish, and European Muslims are also sizeable communities. There remain large tensions between these communities and the Arab World. Mawali take issue with the Arab Muslim claim that they can still dictate the terms of a religion of which they are no longer the majority because they were the first recipients of the message. Arab Muslims counter that much of Mawali Islam is syncretic with indigenous traditions which are themselves not Islamic or counter-Islamic and so their voices are the truer voices of what Islam should represent.

Are the Palestinians the Arabs Jews or Muslims?

Answer 1This is not a trichotomy. Arab is an ethnicity, Jew is an ethno-religious marker, and Islam is a religion. Therefore a person can (in theory) be an "Arab Jew", a "Jewish Arab", an "Arab Muslim", a "Muslim Arab", or a "formerly Jewish Muslim". (Whether or not these terms are used is something else.) In terms of the Palestinians, they are exclusively Arab, ethnically and the majority are Muslim, but there are some Arab Christian Palestinians, Arab Druze Palestinians (although most Druze identify as Israelis, Lebanese, or Syrians), and Arab Bahai'i Palestinians.Answer 2the people of Palestine are a variety of Muslims and Christians. They used to live in harmony with the Jews under the British State (there was never a Muslim state that exclusively ruled Palestine). As soon as the Jewish areas received independence and Statehood, discord and war broke out.

What are similarities between Muslim and Arabs?

Most Arabs are Muslim, while most Muslims are not Arab (because of the large Muslim communities of southern and eastern Asia). Notably, the Prophet Mohammad was an Arab. Many Arabs are Christian, although this community is embattled because of the current politics of Arab lands. Some Jews from Arab lands are considered Arab because their native language is Arabic, but since 1948, the vast majority of Jews that once lived in Arab lands have been forced out, many to Israel (where they now make up the majority) and quite a few to France.
