According to my research a single measures 36" x 75" and a common "twin" measures 39" x 75". Thus if you laid a twin mattress on a single bed it would surpass the edges on the side by 1.5" on both sides. --Jo Ann
well the most obvious difference is the size the A300 is a single deck twin engine and the A380 is a full length double decker 4 engined jet also the A380 is much more modern
twin = two bi = two Answer: no difference
A twin is made for one person and a double is made for two. A double is the same as a full...just different name. A twin is also known as a single (twin=single, full=double). I think they should have just stuck with a single and double...much easier to keep straight. A twin is for one person, really? How confusing! As a side note, 2 Twin/Single XL's (4 inches longer) are equivalent to a King.
Most of the time on consumer mower they use single blades on the smaller mowers. (33" and smaller)
