There is no easy way. It is just a matter of removing enough parts to gain access to the core. Not an easy repair. This is why they charge so much to replace one. Good luck.
Remove the water supply lines to your 1985 Pontiac Trans Am heater core. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. The heater core will come out. Reverse the process to install your new heater core.
Probably in the 1997 Pontiac trans-am heater core valve holder. If not, you probably lost it. Both the valve, and your mind.
If your 1994 Pontiac Trans Am randomly stalls out while driving, you may have clogged fuel injectors or a bad distributor. Check the distributor first, as this is the easiest to replace.
I dont understand your question.
where is the heater motor located at
The 1989 Pontiac trans am is a classic automobile. Yes, you can flat tow a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am.
From the factory, Pontiac engines do not have adjustable valves. You simple torque them down to 20-25 foot pounds.
Thermostat is the whole water outlet on the waterpump.
Pontiac Trans Sport was created in 1990.
Not very likely, as there is no such thing as a 2005 Pontiac Trans Am.
how to take a evaorator out of a 1997 pontiac trans am
Hi to change the heater core you can start by ensuring the antifreeze in the engine is cold if you have hose clamps. clamp the heater hoses so they do not leak if you do not have clamps just drain the radiator. next put a catch pan under the passenger side of the car near the fire wall to catch any antifreeze that does leak out. than go inside the car on the passenger side open the glove box empty its comtents and remove the glove box door and liner. after this is done you can remove all the bolts around the heater box(I think there are 14 of them) when the heater box comes out the heater core is in it . to reassemble just reverse the process.
