There are 2 pumps. 1 is under the car on the drivers side and is simple to replace. unbolt the whole pump/filter assm. disconnect the hoses.( when putting it back make sure the wires are correct or it will run backwards!) The 2nd pump is in the tank! In the back of the trunk under the carpet is a access panel with 4 screws. remove the panel, there you will find a large round port with a bunch of hoses comming off it. there is also a wire harnace that goes through the wall into the trunk to a connector on the left side. Carefully remove all the hoses and undo the connector and pull it through the hole. (this is a bit hard to do through a 8" hole!) Take a large screwdriver and hammer. Tap loose the large round ring until you can turn it with your hand. The whole pump/sinding unit will pull out of the tank. it may have to be twisted a bit to get it through the port. Once out the pump is simple to replace! You may distroy the hose clamps if they are rusty, Just replace them!Good Luck!
