depends ,cant really tell you this w/out an engine spec (need to know the size of the motor)ill give it a shot in the dark and give you b oth firing orders for the 4 cylinder 2.5 151 cubic inch vin code u and its a throttle body injected and the v6 3.0 litre 181 cubic inch vin code L fuel injected.. ok four cylinder first firing order for that 1 is 1-3-4-2 front of vehicle 1 2 3 4 distributor rotates clockwise for the v6 firing order is ..1-6-5-4-3-2 front of vehicle 1 2 3 4 5 6 and this is a DISTRIBUTORLESS IGNITION hope this helps out in future posts try to post the engine size also .ty

It is 1-6-5-4-3-2 and the dist turns clockwise.
The most common order is 13726548.
Firing is 1-3-4-2 on a 1986 celb with the 2.5L 4 Pontiac Iron Duke. The order is found on the intake manifold.

I have an '87 s10 with a 2.8L v6, the firing order is 123456. I am quite sure that your firebird is the same.
