cylinders 2,4,6 are on the front bank(think radiator side) and cylinders 1,3,5 are on the rear bank(firewall side)..these are listed from left to right when standing in front of the engine/car.
the coils are 1-4-6-3-2-5 from the front of the engine(left to right of course)
Dont confuse this, but the firing order is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. But this info isn't really needed when you have the above info.
To The Owne of the 1986 6000 SE: The firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6. Most Sincerely, Kristopher Gerbracht www.kristopher.gerbracht@juno.com
Firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6
123456 is the firing order.#1 is if you are looking at the front of the car to your left the last plug wire on the left would be #1
You could call your local auto parts store and they should know the answer to that one
This is the key image to remember when doing a firing order on a 2.8 or a 3.1 car. Things are kinda different about these motors..http://z.about.com/d/autorepair/1/0/ce94760148.gifIt has the firing order, but more critacally, the numbered cylinders. Normal v-6 engines have the odd numbered cylinders in the front of the motor. But not the 60* V6 engines. They have the Even numbered cylinders on the front side of the motor.
Check th firing order. It is 1-6-5-4-3-2
It is next to the oil filter.
The fuel filter is just inside of the left rear wheel on this car.
have a pontiac 6000 2.5 motor and it wont stay running
If you say so...........
It holds about 50-60 liters...so around 12-15 gallons
On the distributor.
