The fuel pressure should be 45 psi .
The 1994 GM A Body vehicles with the 3.1 requires 41 to 47 psi for fuel pressure.

Check your Fuel Pressure Regulator under the intake plenum that is on the fuel rail. Had the same issue myself, gas coming from the intake.
Put the "O" ring on the line and lubricate it with a little silicone.
fuel rail leaking or on the fuel side of rail there is a "O" ring in line to seal it from leaks. if it is leaking, release fuel pressure from system, take out main fuel line to fuel rail and replace "O" ring on end of line.
see if your spark plug are wet, change oil, with new filter.
I found it in my repair manual. It is about 26 to 32 psi.
Remember that the number one problem with these vehicles is fuel pump related. Check your fuel pressure ;your pump may be getting weak.
It has an electronic shifter at the driver side end of the trans. the vaccum days are over.
The fuel pump pressure sensor monitors the fuel pressure of the vehicle.
