Not 100% sure, but I think it was 33 psi.
I have a '94, and recently did a lot of work on my fuel system.
30 to 45 lbs.
start the car, rev to 5500, if it sputters going up, not enough fuel pressure
AnswerProbably under vehicle follow fuel line from tank The Fuel filter on a 1994 Escort is located on the fire wall just below the Master brake cylinder.
the 1998 ford escort does not have a fuel pressure regulator. It does however, have a fuel pressure sensor located on the fuel injector rail. It has a connector attached to it and can be removed by taking out the attaching screws and twisting and tugging on it.
The fuel cut off switch on a 1994 Ford Escort LX is located just outside the fuel tank. It is designed to stop the flow of fuel in the event of an accident.
The fuel pressure on a 1998 Ford Escort should be between 40 and 60 psi at idle and not drop below 35psi under acceleration.
yes it dose it controls the voltage to the fuel pump and therefor the pressure
it should be around 4psi
I believe it is located in the fuel tank.
in the gas tank
no, but it does have a fuel pump relay. it has a fuel pressure regulater
In a 2002 Escort ZX, the fuel pump has a check valve built into it. If the fuel pressure is dropping, then it is a bad pump. You would need to replace the entire pump. It could also be low compression.
