I believe that the gapping is .044" on this engine.
Take it to a trained professional.
Could be a number of things... bad air filter, fouled spark plugs, weak fuel pump...
Have you checked your spark plugs, spark plug wires, destributor cap and rotor, do you have dirty fuel injectors. It could be any one of these seperatly or a combination of any or all of these. Then it could be your magnetic pickup in the distributor or your engine control module. You need to test all these components to know that they are the problem. If you just start changing parts it can get expensive.
1 - 3 - 7 - 2 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 8 Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system The engine cylinders / spark plugs are numbered : 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front
The thermostat on a 1993 Ford e 350 7.3 diesel is located on the side of the engine. The thermostat can be found by following the upper radiator hose.
With regular maintenance inluding oil changes, air filters, plugs wires etc. there is no reason to expect that it will not reach 250K
Yes.
glowe plugs on 1996 ford e350 .7.3 diesel are under valve cover
with a spark plug socket Whoever wrote the above answer has never been under the hood of a late model ford van. I have found it impossible to remove the coil packs from the engine without lowering the engine a few inches to gain clearance. It is a horrible design and the engineers over at ford should be shot for making the worst cars and trucks in the world. try to see if there is an engine cover under the center console. I didn't have to lower the engine... and you WILL need a spark plug socket... CLICK "View Discussion" Below, and helpful info may follow. -sbp
My 2000 E350 has 385 978miles keep the oil changed

Not sure what you mean by change the ignition on a diesel, diesel engines don't have spark plugs, spark plus wires, coil, etc.... If you are asking about the ignition switch, it is mounted on top of the steering column on most pre 2000, after that they are located in the steering column.
