While the most dangerous job in all is being an infantryman is not true, being deployed right now in Iraq few people know what we do as combat engineers MOS 21B or 12B. we do route clearance for the infantry to even go anywhere, engineers are the first ones in and clear a safe path from ieds to land mines so everyone else could come in and do there job.
Women take an active role in combat at least in the Canadian Army, not just MPs. That being said bomb disposal would be among the most dangerous.
Most would say 11B which is your infantry which is not true. I am a cavalry scout for the US Army and it has shown it has the highest Death Rate by far. We are the eyes and ears for the commander. We are the first into battle and the last ones out. It is a very dangerous job but i would not change my decision for the world.
