i recently talked to some new officer at barry b.telford correctional facility in new Boston , who said they recently received they're ratings that verified they held the most violent prisoners of any Texas state prison. my sister is a co there and she said it's the only state prison in Texas that Texas state prisoner's can be transferred to for misbehaving .telford is a disciplinary unit and there are prisoner's sent there for things like stabbing ten prisoners in a year and riots and being hard to control , there was a guy with 26 life sentences. u can read about any Texas state prisoner and view they're file and what prison theyre in. iv found telford to have the worst inmates. your not safe there, and iv heard stories about stabbings at telford and basically they try to keep you safer and they seem to do a really good job compared to other prisons but i know of an inmate who was beaten in the hall on the way to lunch, all the inmates in the dorm passed him but no one even said to a CO ''hey there's a guy bleeding out in the hall ''cause that's how things goyou dont rat.the guy's face was crushed and his skull was cracked when the guard ''walked up on him'' he was in a pool of blood over 2 feet long and didn't appear to be breathing - the prisoners were eating lunch right across the hall like nothing happened . apparently there aren't a lot of camera's at telford
