Normal oil pressure at idle would be about 30 psi. Minimum would be about 10.

about 20psi at idle (warm) and 40 to 50psi at 2000rpm.

A full operating temperature it will be around 40 psi.

Normal engine compression would be 100-125psi

2,4bar both fully loaded and when not.

It is on the front of the engine, just above the oil filter.

Of course it is not normal. You have no fuel pressure at startup, and the engine is starving for fuel. Look at the fuel pressure regulator or for leaking fuel injectors that are bleeding off at shut down. This is definitely not normal and anyone who tells you it is, should not be trusted to repair this vehicle.

Normal idle oil pressure would be around 30 psi. Minimum pressure should be about 10 psi.

Around 30-40 psi at full operating temperature.

Normal is 30 at idle. 50+ at 3000 rpm. Minimum is 12 at idle.

Had a Jeep in the shop here with that problem last week and it turned out to be low fuel pressure. Try running a fuel pressure test. The Jeep would idle ok but when you tried to accelerate the engine would stall.

There is no 3.1 engine in any Jeep

Pressure test system to see if there is a leak Coolant mixing with oil? Run engine to normal operating temperature remove dipstick and let a drop fall on hot part of engine - oil will smoke - coolant will sizzle

Check with another gauge. If still 0 when warm, the engine is worn out.Check with another gauge. If still 0 when warm, the engine is worn out.

If you are asking if it has a safety that shuts the engine off if oil pressure is low, then no it does not.If you are asking if it has a safety that shuts the engine off if oil pressure is low, then no it does not.

The oil pressure sensor on the 3.6L engine is on the rear of the oil cooler, under the intake manifold.

The oil pressure sensor on a 1997 V8 is on the top rear of the engine next to the distributor.
