Europeans invaded Palestine and changed its name to "Israel". When the US tires of supporting this genocide, the invaders will go someplace else. The US spends billions of dollars every year supporting the apartheid "israelis".

It depends on how you define it.

There is the bloated definition espoused in the Community Answer, that the entire existence of Israel is an "Occupation". There is no international legal standing for this position and this is typically not what political leaders are talking about in the West (US, Canada, Europe, or Australia) or in Israel. This view is mostly advocated by lay Arabs or Muslims and Arab Politicians who see the existence of Israel as illegitimate and, therefore, use inaccurate language to support that perspective.

The international discussion concerns the West Bank and Gaza Strip territories which are partly under Israeli martial law or are blockaded by the Israeli army. The Israeli government has the right to hold onto these territories until such time as a peace treaty can be signed according to UN Resolution 242. However, the thought behind the resolution was that the Arabs and the Israelis would come to such a peace treaty within a few years of UN Resolution and so a short-term military occupation would be acceptable. It has been over 40 years and the two sides cannot resolve their differences. In the interim, the problems with maintaining a military occupation has been disastrous for the Palestinians and very problematic for the Israelis. Most notably for the Palestinians, the issues are that: the Israeli military occupation has resulted in the creation of Israeli settlement blocs in the West Bank, numerous Israeli checkpoints preventing internal commerce, and unequal justice in military tribunals. Most notably for the Israelis, the issues are that: the Palestinians have risen up in several Intifadas and terrorism campaigns and the international pressure exerted against Israel because of the Occupation.

Is palestine a developing country?

Technically Palestine is'nt a country,it's under israeli occupation but recently got accepted by the U.N as U.N non member observer status. Yes, Palestine is a developing,i guess one can call it country. Its development is severely hindered due to the israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and restrictions of Palestinian exports and imports. Palestine's development would triple if the israeli restrictions were lifted and the occupation were over.

Syria is independent, but is in a state of civil war. Palestine is quasi-independent because of the Israeli Occupation of the West Bank and the non-recognition of Hamas-controlled Gaza by most countries around the world.

Is Palestine evil?

No. No country or people is evil. Palestine and Palestinians are victims of violence and strife and have been attacked both by Israel and by their "fellow" Arabs. Each has placed them in occupation, deprived them of necessary materials, and stalls their chances for proper statehood.

Why is there no Palestine on the map today?

The British Mandate of Palestine was disolved and the independent State of Israel was founded on 78% of that land in 1948, with the remaining 22% under Jordanian and Egyptian occupation. The disappearance of Palestine in 1948 is no different that the disappearance of Rhodesia, New Grenada, and numerous other territories that were given names by colonists that the local inhabitants rejected. However, there is currently a State of Palestine which has de jure control of the Gaza Strip (as of 1993) and some bantustans in the West Bank (as of 2000). This Palestine should be on your map.

Why was palestine divided after World War 2?

during the world war2 Britain needed help defeating the Nazis so they turned to the Jews in Europe promising them with an independent land of their own in case they agreed to fight for them and they did. Since palestine was allready occupied by Britain and Jerusalem is where Jews used to live 2000 years ago Britain decided to end its occupation there leaving it to the Jews to be the new occupiers however the british occupation was only military unlike the Jews where they turned it into a homeland so that's where the U.N. resolution of deviding palestine came from
