It is called a oil filter adapter.
Its in the tank and is one piece with the pump, filter and sensor
you remove the whell and then remove the bolts from the back of the calipier then remove the bolts from the monuting for the caliper then remove the rotor by pulling it off. if it is all one piece then you have to remove the hub itself
If it's a single piece driveshaft, remove the 4 bolts that hold the U joints to the differential pinion gear. If it's a 2 piece driveshaft, remove the 2 bolts that hold the center carrier bearing to the truck frame first.
The Oil Sending Unit on a 1988, 89, and 90 model Silverado is behind the driver side manifold. It is right above the oil filter. It is a canister that is bolted to a piece of tubing that leads to the motor.
On your top main raidator hose there is a bubble looking piece. Take the bolts out of it and your thermostat is sitting in the engine block. To put a new one in get a new gasket and some silicone sealant and make sure not to overtighten the bolts because it is only an aluminum piece you are potting them into.
I looked at my remote filter on my 93 S10 Blazer and it is bolted to the inner fender which shouldn't need to be removed to remove the fender.
Umm..the same way you took it off..jk...there is only 2 bolts holding it. If it is hard to go in then the boot ( that little piece of rubber) is blocking it
The piece across the Silverado below the windshield is called the cowling. It covers the wiper arms and is usually painted the same as the vehicle.
from the inside of the door, there is a trim piece on the inside near the mirror, its triangle shaped, that is held in with a plastic "push-in" clip, remove that panel, and the nuts for the mirror bolts will be accessable with a ratchet and socket
The whole headlight on these 03 silverado is not that hard to take it out. When you pop the hood open as you look on the headlight there should a long piece of tube metal that is holding the headlight onto your car. As I recall there shouldn't be any screws or bolts holding the headlights. That is for headlights, not "Daytime Running Lights". Still looking for answer!
The fuel filter is located underneath the car on the drivers side close to the rear door. It is located next to the fuel pump and is housed in a triangle shaped piece of metal. It is held up by three 12mm bolts
