OK... The little 'bubble' you are talking about is the sunload sensor used by the air conditioning system on this vehicle, if equipped with automatic temperature control (you will have an 'auto' setting on your a/c controls). If your vehicle is a manual system this 'bubble is not functional, but the factory uses the same dash panel for both. In order for your a/c and heat system to work correctly (when in the 'auto' setting) it is necessary that this 'bubble' not be covered up as it reads light from the sun in order to operate the program for the heating/air conditioning. it could but you might need to trim the rear a little
Behind the plastic cover on the wiper motor.
It is mounted just below the battery. It is in a black plastic box. It is on the engine side of the battery.
I don't know what "little cap or bubble on the dash" refers to, but a good bet would be that a Chevrolet dealer would be able to get it for you.
yes
Tim Allen does the Chevy Silverado HD commercial, but Dylan Bruno does other Chevy commercials (Cruze, Silverado).
It is mounted back by the fuel tank, right beside it. It is a black plastic box that has plastic lines coming from it.
