What is the problem a 1985 S10 Blazer 2.8 cranks no spark no start fuel present in Carb?

I have answered the question myself by accident. I replaced the 2 wire harness from the coil to the spark module in the Distributor. The one wire from the B terminal on the Coil to the + terminal on the Module had a butt splice in it from a previous owner and that connection came loose and was covered with a shrink tube and could not be seen.
