Blown head gasket or cracked head.
valve seals and or guides bad
Have you spilt some on the radiator?
It is not confirmed what Synyster Gates smells like. Most fans assume he smells like a normal person, or like cigarettes as he smokes.
cause it good yeah man _________________ Smokes good, smells great and leaves you feeling better.
Head gasket about to go? You sure its not light blue, maybe valve seals bad if only smokes at start up or extended high RPM
Steam? RX8 normally smokes from the rich fuel mixture. When you turn the car off, especially when it is cold, it steams.
Vehicle burning oil? Might not show when converter is installed due to high temperature produced by converter (oil is burned and disipated in converter before getting to tailpipe).
It has a leak in the Cooling System Somewhere, It might have a cracked Head or a Blown gasket
Those are two different problems... If it's smoking in traffic, it could be from many things... If the smoke is coming from under the hood, you might have an oil leak that is dripping onto the exhaust. If it's smoking from the tailpipe, odds are, your rings / compression is gone and the oil is blowing by the rings and getting burned.
there must be some sort of wiring problem which is causing them to burn.
My guess would be valve seals in the engine. The earlier year 4.6 L V8 was problematic for early failure of valve seals. If it smokes worse after idleing, and then clears up somewhat that should be your problem. I would guess somewhere between $400 - $800 for repair. Low end at a independent mechanic, high end for a dealership.
That is fine. Its just the hot exhaust meeting the cold air. When it smokes on warm days on start up, then there is a problem, and if it does that then its probably the injectors going bad.
