That light is the SRS indicator light (Supplemental Restraint System). It comes on when the computer reads a code of a faulty srs part. This does not mean it is bad, it could be just a fuse or something was disconnected while the battery was still connected. Removing the srs steering wheel, instrument cluster, seat, disconnected wire under seat, bad fuse, or a bad system could be any of the causes. Most times if it was tripped and there is nothing wrong it can be reset. Take your car to a mechanic to make sure it is nothing major because there is a reason the light is on and it may not deploy the airbag in the event of a crash. Although it is a little expensive to have them check it (30-90 dollars) for just hooking up a computer, it is better to be safe than sorry. If they say there is nothing wrong with it and just needed to be reset then you can do this yourself in the future if it happens again. Honda's and Acura's have problems with this and the dealerships will not guarantee that it will stay off. Do an internet search on how to videos on resetting the airbag light. On my Acura Integra I had to pull a wire out and put a paper clip in it at certain times to open and close the circuit to make the light go off.
