The engine. Once you replace it with a 5.7L you will have a car that is not slower than a bicycle.
Drivers side of engine just under the headers or exhaust manifold, there will be a single wire attached to it running up to the top of the engine and connecting into a wire bundle. Cant miss it.
No.
There should not be any problem as long as the single cylinder engine has the same horsepower for handling the load, and the mounting bolt holes match up.
check the starter, or maybe check the battery may be enough voltage for lights, but not to crank the engine over.
remove the exhaust manifold (its under it) if it is a single or dual over head cam engine
the first single engine was made in 1923
Single Overhead Valve Engine
Yes you can but you will have to swap out the wiring harness and the on board computer as well. Otherwise it just won`t start.
The voltage regulator is located in the Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC or ECM). If you have to replace it, you have to replace the computer. The computer has the voltage regulator in it. The alternator gets feedback from the computer to produce more of less voltage.
The one that never starts its engine.
