There is no spark plug wires on the 2.4L twin cam engine, the spark plugs are located right underneath the top cover on the head
on top of the engine there is a plate with 4 bolts in it and there is a large plug with wires connected to it on the right side of it take the 4 bolts out and take the plug loose and the plate will lift off . the plugs are down inside the holes . you will need a spark plug socket and atleast a 12 inch extentsion to get them out .
You have to remove the head gasket to check in the cylinder. The click and flash should be obvious on a working spark plug
