Many Tibetans have been living in India after they fled from Tibet after the Chinese brutal invasion of Tibet in 1950's. Tibetans living in India are considered "foreigners" and do not hold any citizenship of India. They are stateless people and do not have the right to own property, hold government jobs or move freely within India.
