Pull out the radio and get the serial and model numbers. Then call your local Mitsubishi dealer they will give you the codes (there are multiple) you have to try several usually. You may need the VIN number as well.

I have changed the headlight but I need to adjust it as the lights don't hit the road
The cover will pop off pretty easily, then you take off the mounting nuts, then you can unplug the tweeter.
I believe the awnser varies on what model you have... I have a 1999 galant GTZ mine has disc ( rotors ) front and back, The rear has the disc drum combo for the parking brake... Hope this helps
What year is your car? I have a 2001 Galant GTZ and my gas door is one that you have to push. Mine you push the right side of the fuel door.
14 gallons... which includes the 1 and a half gallons of gas you have left when your "low fuel light" goes on. That is approximate. I know because I have one. Dude check your facts it's a 16.3 gallon tank for every single 2002 galant model (V6, I4, DE, ES, GTZ).
it means everything is fine, code 12 denotes that system is operating fine...
I have a 2002 Galant GTZ - basically the same car. Disconnect the battery cable for a period of time. This will clear out the computer's memory and reset the light. If the light continues to come back on afterwards, then you might want to get it checked. I've done this on my Galant as well as a 1999 Jeep Cherokee and 1999 Dodge Avenger. I think it will work on any car where the engine light doesn't turn off unless externally reset. When I've done it, I've had the battery cable off for as long as overnight and short as 4 or 5 hours. Just depended on when I disconnected it and when I needed to drive it again. May be able to do it for less time. Just need it to be long enough for the computer to lose it's memory. Of course, you'll lose your radio presets as well.
Go to NAPA Auto Parts and ask them to order a new switch. They can be sure to help you find the correct part. Their website says they run around $44 for a new one. Or check your local import parts salvage yard for a Galant of your vintage and pull it there. (be sure it works or you may end up with TWO broken windshield wiper levers haha)
Remove air box, pulley is located just under attached to engine block. Should remove bolts take off belt, and replace pulley and belt.
I had the same light come on in my 1999 Mits Galant GTZ. It saying your airbags are not working properly. I had to replace a switch located behind my drivers side airbag. I did it myself and it was pretty easy. Dont let the dealership say you HAVE to replace the airbag, because you dont!! Just be careful when handling the airbag.
