Dodge currently limits the power levels of 6.7 to 350hp & 650ft-lbs of torque, the reason being reliability issues with their transmissions, specifically the 545RFE automatic.
In my opinion, (based off the fact that Cummins is known for the durability of their engines) the torque rating of the 6.7 is SIGNIFICANTLY low. Cummins did not build a new engine for a "whopping" 40ft-lbs.
When Chrysler starts using ZF 8 speed automatics, which they have already signed a contract for, you can expect a torque rating that will easily match that of the new Ford Powerstroke and GM Duramax trucks, if not surpass them. People that are running modified trannies in their 6.7's can be getting up to 1300ft-lbs of torque, and as time passes, numbers grow.
You should be using red extended life coolant (ELC).

IIRC, you had the option of the 5.9 ISB or 6.9 ISC for that year.. for the ISC, it should be two. I'm not sure if they used two filters or a single one for the ISB, though.
The ISC is the best block and you can increase horse power by adding Banks equipment
Basically, year of manufacture and what emissions regulations they had to fall under. Pre-2003 ACERT motors are your red tops, whereas Cummins designated their line of diesel motors as a whole new series under the post-2003 regulations (the N14 became the ISX, the M11 became the ISM, the L10 became the ISC, etc.).
You can loosen the tension on your alternator belt by loosening the tensioner bolt. When the tensioner bolt is loose you can slide the alternator to the left.
